My primary research aim is to elucidate pivotal inquiries that bear direct policy ramifications, leveraging cutting-edge empirical and theoretical methodologies. I primarily delve into the spheres of development economics, trade, industrial organization, and financial modeling, while possessing a pronounced inclination towards applied econometric challenges, spurred by empirical investigations. Within the domain of development economics, my inquiries are concentrated on the intricate understanding of labour markets, agricultural diversification, rigorous impact evaluation of policies and initiatives, and the dimensions of food security within burgeoning economies. I maintain a keen interest in the multifaceted dynamics of the labour market, encapsulating themes such as informality, segmentation, intersections of trade and employment, labour mobility, and the nuanced implications of gender within labour contexts. Concurrently, in the realm of financial modeling, I seek to design and leverage quantitative constructs to forecast financial market behaviour and facilitate strategic decision-making. Within industrial organization, my research is honed in on the efficiency and productivity analyses across diverse industrial sectors, with a particular emphasis on their interrelations with export activities and fiscal performance.
